WELCOME BACK to another episode of Faith & Friends!
I am so honored to share a little piece of the day with you.
When someone says the year, "2020" what do you think of? In some way or another we all have lost something in the past few trips around the sun. Maybe it was a graduation ceremony, time with your friends at College, the loss of your time, a job....or even a loved one.
Today we are going to hear from our sister Melissa Warren as she shares her story of loosing her beloved husband last fall from covid.
I lost a family member as well last fall due to covid and I am just so grateful for this episode as we navigate grief and hope in the midst of tragedy together.
In this episode you will hear...
-Melissa's story of losing her husband, Bubba
-navigating the "W" word, widow, as a young woman with young children
-adjusting to being a single mom while explaining death to kids
-how we have ultimate hope, joy, and redemption through the cross and blood of Jesus!
-how memorizing scripture can comfort you in times of sorrow
Has this episode, or any of our conversations here on Faith & Friends impacted you? Please leave us a 5 star review! We would love to hear from you!
